ACF in Nigeria is seeking young, motivated and experienced professionals to support start up of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) activities in Yobe State. Action Against Hunger | ACF-International is a registered charity home found in 1979 now operating in 37 countries.
JOB VACANCIES OPEN POST/EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
HYGIENE PROMOTION OFFICER (3POST):
B.Sc. or HND in Education, Health & Hygiene promotion or related discipline and training experience. Knowledge of organizing sanitation surveys and using conventional approach methods (CORE, PHAST etc)
TECHNICAL OFFICER (1 POST):

HND in Engineering, Construction or related discipline and professional experience in building Projects links to water and sanitation; Good WASH technical  knowledge.
WASH DEPUTY PROGRAMME MANAGER (1 POST):
B.Sc. in Engineering or Public Health Degree or equivalent in the field related to WASH in development contexts + minimum of 2years of work experience. Applied skills on WASH projects management; interpersonal skills.
OVERALL REQUIRED SKILLS FOR ALL POSTS:
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills. Experience in capacity buildi9ng, participatory techniques and training.
Fluent in English, Hausa and of Kanouri is a plus
Computer literacy
Good knowledge of the intervention area and of public health issues.
Committed to team work and university
Communication to ACF mission values and approach.
Previous experience with local international NGO’s
Broad understanding of gifts and development issues, international relations and international humanitarian systems.
