THE ORGANIZATION:
CHARIS (Comprehensive HIV/AIDS Response; the Interfaith Solution) Project is a CHAN project funded by PEPFAR (US President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief) project funded through the US CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
CHARIS seeks to scale up prevention care and treatment of HIV/AIDS and development of indigenous capacity in Nigeria. As the project’s prime, CHAN takes the overall lead in Program, Grant and Supply chain management and works with other partners who are sub-grantees of the project

Currently the project has the following vacancies:
POST TITLE: Grants and Compliance Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- The Grants and Compliance Manager is responsible for budget monitoring and compliance oversight of the USG awards and all related SDF finance issues.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Applicant must have a Masters degree in accounting or related field,
- A professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CPA or equivalent),
- Six years relevant post-qualification experience, of which three years should be at supervisory level in PEPFAR USG and USAID Grants and compliance management,
- Auditing and training experiences are desirable,
- Excellent spreadsheet skills.
POST TITLE: Grants and Compliance Officer
REPORTS TO: Reports to Grants and Compliance Manager
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- The Grants & Compliance Manager will work closely with the program managers and project partners in enhancing the capacity of the partners in financial management and to assist in ensuring the reporting accuracy of the Project Advance and Liquidation.
- The minimum qualifications is a degree or HND in Accounting or similar field,
- Full chartered membership of an accounting institute or Masters Degree in accounting with at least four years experience in a similar area of work,
- Excellent spreadsheet skills.
