PLANT MANAGER
An established and still-growing Setraco construction companies in Nigeria is looking to recruit a number of experienced Plant Manager for their operations in Nigeria.
Setraco was established in 1977 and started by constructing township and district roads in what was then Bendel State. Over the last thirty years the Company has rapidly grown to become one of the largest construction companies in Nigeria specialized in roads and bridges. With a presence today in around 20 states; Setraco has played a key role in developing Nigeria’s infrastructure as the Country strives towards becoming a developed nation.
Setraco Nigeria is a member of the Setraco International Holding group of companies. The Company is also technically partnered with a number of leading design and consulting firms across the globe which enables us to present our clients with cutting edge solutions for their needs.
The successful candidate chosen for this role will be will be involved in maintenance and repair of Plant equipment in Setraco Nigeria.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Overview the technical and managerial aspects of the Plant Department, including those of the quarries, stores, asphalt plants and batching plants.
Coordinate the functions, procurement and mobilization/demobilization of Plant facilities and personnel for various projects.
Provide specialized expertise and advice to the areas of operations on all related Plant aspects.
Coordinate with the Estimating Department for economic plant usage and selection for various types of plant application.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 2-5 years experience in repair, maintenance and management of large road construction fleet of equipment.
At least 5 years experience in similar position with proven record.
