The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Foundation, located in Abeokuta ' Ogun State Nigeria, is conceived as a centre that aims at 'preserving the past. capturing the present and inspiring the future" of Nigeria and Africa at large. It is primarily a historic, touristic. recreational and academic centre and also a national archive for the preservation of genuine presidential papers, documents, materials and other historic items associated with the office and person of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The OOPL has reached advanced stages and is in need of young and capable minds to advance it works in different spheres and has need for the following people who must be team players, dynamic and require minimal supervision

LANGUAGE TRANSLATOR/INTERPRETER IN FRENCH

DUTIES

Interpretation/translations of meeting discussions and discourses
Translation of texts materials from English to French and from French to English Languages
Preparation of brochure texts for different audiences in English and French

QUALIFICATIONS
BA/B.Ed French (Masters degree is a major advantage)
At least 3 years experience with an institution using such services Not more than 32 years of age
Membership of professional body an added advantage Must be computer literate.
Ability to be effective in a team and independently is a major advantage

CURATOR

DUTIES

Managing the curatorial assets of the OOPL
Conceptualizing thematic exhibitions for relevant national and institutional events
Selecting, classification and logging of artefacts
Preparation of curatorial assets for exhibitions and presentations

QUALIFICATIONS
BA/B.Sc in Humanities or Social Sciences
5-10 years Cognate Experience in museum curatorship Not more than 35 years of age
Must be computer literate.
Membership of a relevant professional body is an additional advantage
Ability to be effective in a team and independently is a major advantage

CONSERVATOR

DUTIES

Will be responsible for the repair and restoration of damaged artefacts and wares
Work with the Curator in maintaining the museum and all its artefacts Ensuring the best practice in the preservation and protection of OOPL's curatorial assets

QUALIFICATIONS
B.Sc Chemistry or Diploma in Conservation
5-10 years Cognate Experience
Membership of a relevant professional body is an additional advantage Not more than 35 years of age
Must be literate in desktop computer applications
Ability to be effective in a team and independently is a major advantage

LIBRARIAN

DUTIES

Management of the OOP library resources
Taking inventory and stock of OOPL materials Management of online aspect of the library
Natural duties of a librarian

QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in Library or Information Science 5-10 years Cognate Experience
Membership of a relevant professional body is an additional advantage Not more than 35 years of age
Must be computer literate with deep knowledge and understanding of Library software and applications
Ability to reason conceptually and be effective in a team is important.

ELECTRONIC MEDIA OFFICER

DUTIES

Will be responsible for the management of the electronic media archive of the OOPL
Review of media materials like video tapes. DVDs, VCDs, HDV tapes, Hard Disk materials for integrity
Supervision of logging activities of video tapes, DVDs, VCDs. HDV tapes Contribute to the development of diverse documentaries for the OOPL

QUALIFICATIONS
Any degree, ND or relevant certification
3-7 years experience in a similar station
Not more than 35 years of age
Must be literate in computer library/Archiving software and applications
Ability to reason conceptually and be effective in a team is important
