INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the vacant positions in the Lagos State University library.
1. PRINCIPAL LIBRARIAN (CONUASS 5)

A good first degree in the Humanities, Natual Sciences, the Social Sciences or Law and postgraduate qualifications such as MLS or MLS with at least ten (10) years cognate experience. Candidates must produce evidence of research and publications. Knowledge of computer applications to Library system is required. Possession of a Ph.D in Library and Information Science will be an added advantage.
2. SENIOR LIBRARIAN (CONUASS 4)
A good first degree in the Humanities, Natural Sciences, the Social Sciences or Law and Postgraduate qualifications such as MLS or MIS with at least six (6) years in a University or Tertiary Institution of any other Library of equivalent standing. Candidates must produce evidence of research and publications. Knowledge of computer application to Library system is required. Possession of a Ph.D in Library and Information Science will be an advantage
3. LIBRARIAN I (CONUASS 3)
A good first degree in the Humanities, Natural sciences, the Social Sciences or Law and Postgraduate qualifications such as MLS or MIS with at least three (3) years in a Univeersity or Tertiary Institution of comparative standing. Candidates must produce evidence of research and publications. Knowledge of information Technology is required. Possession of a Ph.D in Library and Information Science will be an advantage
4. LIBRARIAN II (CONUASS 2)
A good first degree in the Humanities, natural Sciences, the Social Sciences or Lawa and Postgraduate qualifications such as MLS or MIS. Knowledge of Information technology is required. Possession of a Ph.D in Library and Information Science will be an advantage.
5. LIBRARY OFFICER (CONUNASS 06)
A Higher National Diploma HND in Library Science from a recognized Institution. Knowledge of Information Communication Technology (ICT) is required. Candidate must be a team player and possess good communication skills.
CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
As contained in the approved Conditions of Service guiding Senior Staff of the University.
