JOB TITLE: WHOLESALE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
The DFID Nigeria programme is one of DFID’s largest, and in the area of economic growth it aims to help 600,000 people to work their own way out of poverty. The goal of the Growth and Employment in States (GEMS) programme, a joint initiative of DFID, the World Bank and the Federal Government of Nigeria, is to increase growth, incomes and jobs in selected states and nationally. GEMS 4 aims to support the Nigeria Wholesale and Retail sector, which is one of six sectors covered by GEMS. The overall objective of this assignment is to design and implement a market development programme within the wholesale and retails sector in Nigeria that will create jobs and raise incomes, especially for the poor.

UNITED WORLD COLLEGES - NIGERIAN NATIONAL COMMITTEEANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION EXERCISE, 2012
The Nigerian National Committee for the United World Colleges (UWC) invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian candidates for a limited number of Scholarship Award to some United World Colleges. The Colleges prepare students for a two year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma certificate (an equivalent of “A” Levels). Parents/Guardians may be requires to foot the bill of their wards’ flight ticket, pocket money, health, insurance, clothing, etc cost where applicable. Candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 17years

To be eligible to apply. Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding academic ability and must have obtained the Senior School Certificate SSC/GCE ‘O’ levels or their recognized equivalent. Exceptional students in SS3 may also apply on the basis of their two years continuous assessments transcripts.
