POSITION: PAN BOILER

THE JOB:
To safely and effectively operate assigned plant according the standard lay down procedures and to sustain the target throughput.

QUALIFICATION: 50 'level credits including Mathematics and English language in not more than 2 sittings

THE PERSON:Must physically fit and healthy.
Must be able to perform physical tasks

Must be able and willing to work shift
EXPERIENCE: Must have had at least four years practical experience of operating plant and equipment in an industrial environment


POSITION: QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

THE JOB:
To confirm adherence to factory Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by all concerned through daily inspection of production, packaging and any other areas within the premises where activities could pose a threat to food safety.
To ensure that appropriate monitoring and measurement requirements are carried out at designated stages of production to ensure food safety and in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures.
To ensure that measuring equipment are calibrated according to SOP.
To be aware of the entire SOP"s of the refinery processes and ensures compliance to specification of refinery inter- mediate products and final products.
To be able to stand in for QA Manager when not available.

QUALIFICATION:5 0 'level credits including Mathematics and English Language in not more than 2 sittings
BSC/HND in Biochemistry, Micro- biology, Chemistry, Food Science and any other related disciplines.

THE PERSON:Must have basic knowledge of industrial safety.
Must be familiar with Quality Management System
Must be able to relate very well with people
Must be computer literate and good in communication
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

EXPERIENCE: Must have at least one year working experience in maintaining a Quality Management System

POSITION: QUALITY ASSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR

THE JOB:
To maintain the Quality Management System and ensure that all system documentations, procedures and quality records are timely updated, distributed and filed.
To assist with the scheduling and carrying out of internal audits.
To follow up on corrective action resulting from audits and incident reports.

QUALIFICATION:
BSC/HND in Biochemistry, Micro-biology, Chemistry, Food Science and any other related disciplines
5 0 'level credits including Mathematics and English Language in not more than 2 sittings
Knowledge of computer operation is an advantage.

THE PERSON:
Must be familiar with Quality Management System.
Must have basic knowledge of industrial safety.
Must be good in communication and report writing
Must be physically fit and possess demonstrable aptitude to operating machines and equipment
Must be willing to do shift work

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years practical experience in maintaining a Quality Management System in food industry.

POSITION: LABORATORY ANALYST

THE JOB:
Carry out physico-chemical analysis on refined sugar, water samples; boiler water, production water and effluent water to ensure conformity with specifications
Verify/calibrate/document laboratory equipment before use and ensure optimal performance
Conduct in-process stock taking
Calculate refinery recovery and efficiency

QUALIFICATION:
Credit in Mathematics and English Language in WASCE/GCE, BSC/HND Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry and related disciplines

THE PERSON:
Must be familiar with and able to handle basic laboratory equipment/apparatus
Must be computer literate for effective report writing.
Must have analytical skill and mind, good in mathematical calculations
Must have a good knowledge of Quality Assurance (ISO) and familiar with regulatory policies, standards/ specifications (NAFDAC, SON)
Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and under pressure in order to release results on time
Must be physically fit & healthy and able to perform physical tasks; must be agile at all times.

EXPERIENCE:
At least five years practical/industrial experience in Laboratory operations

POSITION: Laboratory Shift Analyst

THE JOB:
Analyze all refinery samples (in-process/finished) to ensure that parameters/values obtained are within specification
Carry out check-analysis.
Generate reliable analytical results that can be used to optimize plant/factory operations

QUALIFICATION:
Credit in Mathematics and English Language in WASCE/GCE,
BSC/HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, Food Technology/ Food Science or any related disciplines.

THE PERSON:
Must be familiar with, and can handle basic laboratory equipment/apparatus
Must be computer literate for effective report writing
Must possess basic knowledge of industrial safety
Must be physically fit, agile and healthy.
Must be able and willing to work shift

EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least three years practical laboratory experience.
Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental practices

POSITION: PROCESS INSPECTOR/CHECKER

THE JOB:

Monitor overall hygiene of the factory by inspecting the process environment at regular intervals
Ensure that in-process and finished products conform t specification
Ensure that equipment /scales are functioning /weighing accurately according to specifications
Ensure that calibration of equipment on the production floor is carried out as prescribed and when due

QUALIFICATION:
5 0' Level credit including Mathematics & English Languages in not more than 2 sittings.
OND in Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, Food Technology/Food Science, or any related discipline.

THE PERSON:
Basic knowledge of industrial safety
Must be familiar with factory/plant operations
Must be good in report writing and generating/ interpreting data
Good communication and observing skills
Must be physically fit, agile and healthy.
Must be able and willing to work shift

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years practical experience in process/factory audit/inspection.

POSITION: HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER

THE JOB:

Work in partnership with line managers on all human resources matters.
Work closely with HR manager on other Hr functions.
Ensure HR matters are handled fairly and consistently ir line with statutory and company requirements.
Help to drive organisational performance by driving cor business objectives.

POSITION: HR ASSISTANT

THE JOB:

Assist HR officer to handle matters fairly and consistently in line with statutory and company requirements.
Assist Hr Officer to drive organisational performance by driving core business objectives.

QUALIFICATION:
OND in any humanities discipline.
5 o-Level Credits including English & Mathematics
Student Membership of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management is an advantage

THE PERSON:
Organized with good interpersonal skills, takes initiative and is a fast learner.
Willing to develop a career in human resources.
Good verbal and written communication skills required.
Intermediate level of Microsoft office packages especially Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year

POSITION: SHIFT LEADER

THE JOB:

To safely and effectively manage the refinery process in order to ensure availability of plant for stable, consistent throughout in order to produce refined sugar of the required quality at the lowest possible cost.

QUALIFICATION: HND/B.Sc Engineering / Food Sciences or equivalent.

THE PERSON:
Ability to communicate clearly (orally and written)
Ability to coach subordinates
Ability to under pressure and in confined spaces
Knowledge of Engineering codes and standards
Basic knowledge of AUTOCAD

EXPERIENCE: Three years suitable industrial experience with some supervisory role

POSITION: FRONT END LOADER (FEL) OPERATOR

THE JOB:
To safely and effectively operate the front end loader in order to recover sugar from the stock pile in the raw sugar warehouse.
To place recovered sugar in the hopper feeding the conveyor to the raw sugar buffer bin.

QUALIFICATION:
Valid Driver's License
Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASCE O Level)

THE PERSON:
Must be physically fit, agile and healthy.
Must be familiar with factory/plant operations
Must be of Stable mind
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 4 years practical experience of operating plant and equipment in an industrial environment.


POSITION: STORE CLERK

THE JOB:

Receive all stock into the store,tag all the new items: ensure these items are stored correctly in the part of the store designated for them.
Issue out all store items to the requesting department for a smooth running of activities.
Keep detailed and accurate records of all the stock that goes through the store for record purposes.
Request for more stock when the number of items gets recommended minimum level.
Ensure the environment is in and around the store is kept clean at all times.

QUALIFICATION: OND/ATS/ 5 O• Level credit including Mathematics & English Languages in not more than 2 sittings.

THE PERSON:
Ability to shelve, store and distribute materials.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge in basic book keeping.
Organizational and record keeping skills.
Basic use of ERP or any other related software.
Physically fit to work under pressure.
Should be keen to details.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years' experience.
