SUPERFLUX NIGERIA LIMITED LATEST JOB VACANCIES, MONDAY 6, FEBRUARY 2012

Superflux Nigeria Limited is a specialized document printing company rendering services to various key organizations. Due to business expansion, the company requires highly competent individuals to occupy the following positions.
1.) WEB PRESS OPERATORS (Reel Fed Printing Press)
DUTIES

Makes ready and operates multiunit, web-fed printing machines to produce various types of commercial and security prints.
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum OND or its equivalent in printing related discipline.
Minimum of 3-4 years experience working on a multi-colour web printing machine.
Good understanding of mechanical aspects of press machinery with sophisticated computerised control functions.
2.) PRESS SUPERVISORS
DUTIES

Supervise activities and personnel in a commercial press in making ready, operating, and feeding various types of printing presses
Co-ordinate press operations and certify printed material for conformance to work order specifications.
Ensure the completion of all required records, paperwork, reports, etc
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of HND or its equivalent in printing related discipline
Minimum of 8 years experience working in a notable commercial press
Thorough knowledge of all print processes from digital prepress to finishing iv. Ability to work flexible hours, shift work and weekends as required.
3.) SADDLES STITCHING MACHINE OPERATOR
DUTIES

Perform bindery operations such as collating, binding, stitching, trimming, folding and finish wrapping.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repair of equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
OND or its equivalent
At least 7 years experience in operating saddle stitching machines particularly Muller Martini and Valore models.
Ability to set-up, repair, and maintain equipment
4.) COLLATING & FOLDING MACHINE OPERATOR (Local or Expatriate)
DUTIES

Set up, operate and maintain (Bielomatik)
Identify job ticket specifications, set and operate machine to published specifications.
Perform preventive maintenance on machine. Trouble shoot defects and perform 1st level repairs.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years experience as Folder/Gluer Operator.
OND or its equivalent.
Basic mechanical ability and aptitude
Flair for working on technical/mechanical equipment
5.) ENVELOPE MACHINE TECHNICIAN (Local or Expatriate)
DUTIES

Optimal set up and operation of envelope machines for quality output
Maintain the quality of the product being manufactured which includes die cutting, folding, printing, gumming, patching etc
First level diagnosis, trouble shooting and repair.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum HND or its equivalent in mechanical engineering
A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in envelope manufacturing in Nigeria or abroad
Exposure to Winkler & Dunnebier Envelope Machines is preferred
6.) PRODUCTION PLANNING EXECUTIVE
DUTIES

Coordinate the activities of all departments responsible for delivering products to customers
Prepare work schedules and ensures that all the resources needed to complete the schedule are available
Plan and conduct cost analysis lead company’s cost saving and efficiency targets
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum HND or its equivalents with at least 7 years working experience in a notable printing press
Organized and have the ability to respond quickly to changes in production schedule.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with department heads (both verbally and in writing).
7.) COST ESTIMATOR
DUTIES

Must have knowledge of printing processes
Proficient in use of cost/estimating softwares
Must have knowledge of paper sizes and calculation
REQUIREMENTS
At least first degree (HND/BSc) in any discipline
Exposure to costing/estimating software
Previous experience in costing role
Competence in MS Excel is essential
