UNISEF NIGERIA: NGO VACANCIES

UNICEF has been working in Nigeria since 1953 to support the government of Nigeria implement programmes and policies for the realisation of children’s rights. Currently it is one of largest UNICEF country programmes in the world.

Nigeria is the most populous nation in Africa with more than 140 million people, including 40 million children under-five years old. Well over half of the population lives in poverty, with wide regional disparities. Progress in achieving the Millennium Development Goals in Nigeria will contribute tremendously to attainment of the Goals for the continent.In concert with other development partners we support the government of Nigeria in the areas of child survival, development, protection and participation.


The United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Nigeria announces the following vacancies:
SOCIAL POLICY SPECIALIST, NOC, KADUNA 
UNICEF Nigeria seeks the services of experienced Social Policy Specialist that will be responsible for the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of social policies, data base and capacity development.
HIV/AIDS SPECIALIST, NOC, LAGOS 
UNICEF Nigeria seeks the services of an experienced HIV/AIDS Specialist who will under the supervision of the Child Survival Manager, be responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS programmes in the Field Office.
OFFICE ASSISTANT, GS-3, BAUCHI, ENUGU, KADUNA & LAGOS 
UNICEF Nigeria seeks the services of an Office Assistant who, under the direct supervision of the Administrative/HR Assistant, will provide general office support to the operations of the field office in order to contribute to smooth office operations 
DRIVER, GS-2, LAGOS 
UNICEF Nigeria seeks the services of an experienced Driver who will under the guidance and supervision of the Administrative/Human Resources Assistant provides transportation assistance, as a driver, to the Field Office, staff members and other visitors.
