The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) is one of the new nine Federal universities recently established by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The University will commence academic activities at its two campuses situated in Oye-Ekiti (for courses in Humanities and Social Sciences, and Science) and Ikole-Ekiti (for courses in Agricultural Technology and Engineering) with effect from 2011/2012 academic session.
